Karagita estate in Naivasha lived to its notoriety once again after a woman, in the heat of the moment, not only bit off her a chunk of her lover's tongue, but swallowed it too.

The woman swallowed the ‘bite’ and then fled in the midday incident on Sunday, December 15, 2019, an occurrence that left many residents shocked.

Dismayed residents took the bleeding man to a nearby health centre.

According to an elder, Solomon Mwangi, the motive behind the attack was still a mystery to them as the man could not talk.

“The two had been drinking for some time when the man started kissing the woman and it’s not clear what caused the woman to turn against her lover,” he said.
