How has WSR won?
He had a very high profile candidate who didn't come close to winning despite significant voter bribery.

Showing your hand too early is never a good strategy.

Raila is rattled. Never rattle a snake unless you can kill it.

What I find funny is this idea that when you lose you win...

In politics, you either lose or win...There's nothing like losing with wisdom.

Juzi tu, they were saying that Mariga will give us a shocker....Now, WSR is clever.

Ngojeni ile where Raila's name is on top of the ballot. Hio ground itakua different zaidi.

Spend over 100 million shillings to get 10k voters and call that winning.

I'm sure Mariga has by this time found out that Lootos phone is mteja.

Actually the big winner here is Mariga. Erstwhile political neophyte whose profile has risen.
He now has to get his calculations right and decide on the next move. I am sure RAO would receive him with open arms if he opts to defect to ODM. The same tactic applied by KJ

Mariga is the Tortoise that found itself near the top of a tree because WSR put it there.

Great, that was my biggest worry.

Boss Raila of 2019 is not close to the Raila of 2007. This was his bedroom as he said and yet he couldn't garner the famous 90% of yester years. Remember the larger Langata is in WSRs pocket.

Langata is more ODM than Kibra. While jubilee won 1 out of 5 wards in kibra, it got none in langata. ODM swept all the 5 wards.

Baba took the presidential vote.

ODM screwed the MP nominations and that is how the lost langata.

Some of the assumptions and ideas being touted:

1. Imran will sustain his late brother's policies - like MP position will reclaim all relevant networks, intentions... (Imran is either the late himself, or an avatar - vicar?)

2. ODM zones must remain ODM

3. We should prevent any positive news on anyone challenging Baba and reputed to be a thief. All thieves on Baba's side are kosher

4. The outcome of these elections are the Kenya tuitakayo.

True. It's either black or white.

Raila's name has to be on the ballot. And before that we need to ensure BBI goes through, so that Baba's run doesn't end up a fool's errand.

We should also watch out lest the 10k voters are not used to get more voters come 2022.

Me thinks Babu Owino should be in charge of these strategic disruptions.

Plus the Wiper lady also took some ODM vores and the victory margin was narrow, relatively.

Am also wondering how!!
All the energies and resources spent on a very localized area and see the results..... That is massive failure. Come 2022 and the countrywide need to spread resources and he will be toast. In fact if you ask me I would say that he has been taught a lesson here, and a big one. If he has learnt the lesson that is another thing altogether.
And he has suddenly created some losers out of this... like Mama NYS must be cursing now.

I want to remind people about system ya facts.

William Ruto has never won any election in Kenya save for Mpig.

That's it!!

He is a hanger on who thinks he's too bright for honesty.

Tell me one election William Ruto has won other than Mpig.

Why follow him when it's very clear that every time he
leads, his campaigns crumble. They were beaten kichapo cha mbwa in Kibra. You can't hide that even in the dark.

What would happen if the name Raila is in that ballot box in Kibra and someone who's been stealing Kibra children playgrounds? Kweli mnafikiria kila mtu ni mjinga?

But I want to encourage them to campaign for every seat in Kenya that is available. If only to spread the cash from Kimwarer. We now know the trick to employ for this fella.

Let him campaign and promise him that he will win. He will pour "our" money back. On election day, chase them away like Khalwale.

By the way, whatever happened to the fake Matiba Ndindi Nyoro?

Politics 101 - The poor and marginalised will always vote against the establishment/system. How do you expect them to vote for the "current system" when they have no housing, water, toilets, jobs etc? That would be like them voting to maintain their status quo ie impoverished state. That is why all slums vote for the opposition, and because the slums have the numbers the constituencies where those slums occur are opposition led.

Kibera slum - Kibra constituency ODM (note that the "rich" woodley ward of kibra has jubilee MCA)
Mathare/kiamaiko slums - Mathare constituency ODM
Kawangware slum - Dagoreti North ODM (lavington guys will always be outvoted by their kawangware neighbours)
Kangemi/kibagare slums - Westlands constituency ODM (wazito was kitisuru, spring valley, loresho hawazani na kangemi jiranis)
Baba dogo/korogocho - Ruaraka ODM
Mukuru slums - Embakasi east ODM.

Note that constituencies with no slums or very few people in slums are jubilee zones.

NB even in the west, the poor and marginalised vote for leftist parties eg democratic party in the US and Labour party in the UK.

So the ODM win in kibra was expected.

In aza news.....Miguna is free to come back home now.

https://www.standardmedi...not-illegal-court-rules

Quote:
Raila Odinga's swearing-in not illegal, court rules

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga did not commit any crime when he was sworn in as the people’s president in January last year, a court has ruled.

Chief Magistrate Stephen Mbungi ruled that the oath taken by the Orange Democratic Movement leader after the disputed 2017 presidential election was not unlawful, and that he would have only been held responsible if he used his swearing-in to commit a crime.

“From the content of the oath, Hon Raila Odinga swore himself to the office of the people’s president which does not amount to any crime. He would have only breached the law if he swore himself as the president of the Republic of Kenya,” ruled Mr Mbungi.

According to the magistrate, Raila’s actions did not amount to treason as claimed by the Director of Public Prosecutions and the oath he took was lawfully administered in accordance with oaths and declaration laws.

Mbungi made the declarations when he acquitted Ruaraka MP Tom Kajwang’ from charges of treason and taking part in unlawful assembly.

Raila’s oath was administered by Mr Kajwang’ and lawyer Miguna Miguna who was also arrested and deported to Canada.
