How do you start a digital lending business?

Anybody familiar with this lucrative sector? Am especially curious about the capital requirements and the regulatory process if any.
Any other tips and advice is also welcome.

At this point the tech can be done by any reputable app development team that serves African clients. The problem is having the cash to cover the loan book, and dealing with professional mobile loan fraudsters. At the moment this business is super lucrative on the top line. On the bottom line it depends on you.
