Half Year Results are out The Group has reported a profit before tax of Shs 2.4 billion a growth of 78 percent from Shs 1.4 billion in June 2018" "International insurance business from across the region contributed 19% of the Group’s insurance revenue and has contributed profitably to the Group" "Britam's Asset Management business has grown its Assets Under Management (AUM) to 172.7 Billion a 23% increase from 2018" - Total Group Assets at ksh.113.8bn at June 30 2019 compared to 112.4bn in June 2018 "Total group assets amounting to Kes 113.8 Bn saw a 46% allocation on fixed income" https://pbs.twimg.com/me...ormat=png&name=small

Key items that contributed to growth in profitability Net unrealised fair value gains on financial assets at fair value through profit or loss went up. Change in actuarial value of policy holder benefits went down. Finance costs went down
