I am looking at the following stocks...

1. BAT, now at 485;
2. Equity, now at 36;

Looking very Juicy!

Welcome Baba.

Am also doing Stanchart at 195, preservation - no more speculation.

Stanchart a defensive stock indeed with a high dividend yield. 19 bob dividend (5 interim/14 final) at the price of 195 equals
9.75%. A real cushion in a bearish market of 36 months running and not abetting.

The real Stanchart "NDANI". Reasonable "NDANI".

A lot of folks regard it as expensive.
It is better to buy few units of something than many units of nothing.

Close substitute's includes BBK, FAHR, KCB , SCAN group , Safaricom (consistent dividend growth) and "born again" COOP bank.

Thumbs down for leaders of yesteryears NMG, Bamburi. Run away from them......

Buy time for safaricom is between November and end of February.
I'm also waiting for it at sub 25.
If you look at the 1 year trend it hit a low of 21.20 in January this year

Timing the market is just a lucky guess. It does not always work out well.

Can't be for all stocks.

Buy - BAT, Stanchart, Infrastructure Bond

Watch - Safaricom, EABL, CooP

Think about - FAHR (Don't quite understand the business model/revenue stream).
