Looking at the location map; I notice that they have interchanged the names of the two major rivers - Chania and Thika.

Makes you wonder whether they know the area they are trying to sell!

All these developments really good for Thika: Thika Greens, Chania Frontiers and quietly Gatanga Gardens. But have you noticed that when any new development advert comes up, there are always pictures of white people. Sorry, nothing racist but my take on Chania Frontiers, Thika Greens should reflect faces of society. I apologise to any reader who feels offended by observation.

Nothing offensive. ArchiCAD n other softwares used to develop such 3d drawings were developed by whites. U have the answer.

@timska @kourage - U can always get other images... I am 100% sure especially if the package/ArchiCAD is American!

Anyway, for the near future... most high-end software will be either European, American or Asian (esp India)...

Not to hijack this thread, but, has anyone noticed that the on board trip tracking systems on all the KQ Boeing 777's show temparature in Fahrenheit? It irks me no end. Surely they can find a smart young IT guy to reprogram the system from American for them?

@ Timska. Where is Gatanga Gardens? Gatanga Kwao group behind it? Is Chania Frontiers the Sofia Roses Farm that was up for sale recently?

Let's allow Gatanga Gardens incubate. It's yet to hatch but one thing for sure, we shall get a chick. Sofia Roses farm was too expensive for Gatanga Kwao group.

Probably because the aviation industry still use the imperial system of units - aircraft height in feet [35,000ft for most jets] Air speeds in knots etc

"Probably because the aviation industry still use the imperial system of units"

Mukiha,

This could be so, except I have not seen it on any other airline. In any case it is a small problem that KQ could easily resolve (I can't believe Boeing manufactures jets but does not program them to use multiple systems). Someone at KQ is sleeping on the job.

Haiya... On my Boeing, it showed BOTH Fahrenheit and Centigrade... LOL... I think it is the programming set up by the FAs...

@ Pondi. Not in the Thika area. An eighth in Ngoingwa/Mangu subdivision on the road frontage is going at 1.2 million. A quarter in Jumapili farm at 1.4 Million.

@Timska. please contact me Iganamagana@gmail.com. I need to pick your brains on something.

Just as they say,Chania Frontiers signifies a modern era defying the traditional concepts of architecture. Within Chania Frontiers’ precinct is the Blue Post Hotel in Thika and the world famous Fourteen Falls.
The project is in maporomoko estate and being implemented by the famous villa care.
A 4 bedroom on a 1/4 acre and going for 10m is just a good deal altogether.
The area is already developed unlike the others.
The plots are just off the Thika super highway in short, decide wiseApplause

@ECHOKENYA; what do you mean "Within Chania Frontiers’ precinct is the Blue Post Hotel in Thika and the world famous Fourteen Falls"?

"BP" as the folks in Thika call it, is at least 5km away and the 14-Falls are a good 25km further on - heading towards Garisa! That can't surely be described as "within the precinct"!!!

Same here Mukiha. Being from Thika, I laughed when I read them linking the site to both near BluePost and Fourteen Falls. Nevertheless, given that houses in Maki and Maporomoko have started going on the market for 15-20M and this area seems to be a few kilometers further down the Thika-Gatanga road, the prices seem reasonable for someone willing to wait a few years for the development to catch up.

@ Echokenya. The place is not developed. Ni shamba ya Kahawa. It is five Kilometers from Maporomoko. Maporomoko for your information is the estate on your left just as you cross the BP flyover on Gatanga /Gatura Road Sand-witched by Maki Estate and Thika Road. The Frontiers are five Kilometers up the road in midst of coffee estates.

@gladiator & @ngufred; have seen the map at the developer's website? It show the site to be adjacent to Chania River - hence the name Chania Fromtiers.

But you and know that the river in the map is R. Thika; not R. Chania!!

As I asked before, do these people know the area?

Nonetheless; I agree. It is a good investment for those who like exclusivity

@mukiha Yea, just saw the map. Chania Frontiers should actually be Thika Frontiers, haha. These guys are just trying to sell what most people know of Thika.
