Where can one get statistics on vehicle make/model vs number of accidents caused?

Inspecta Mwala found guilty of causing death through careless driving and fined 30k or 1 year in prison.

Looks like Mwala knows Hon. Jaguar's judge or lawyers...

There's no justice in Kenya, the family should sue through an international court if possible to get some sort of justice.

BBI will solve it

There is nothing like justice in Kenya. You are found guilty of causing death through careless driving and you are just fined meagre 30k?? What will stop a random Tom, Dick and Harry from drinking and driving carelessly tomorrow causing more death and unnecessary heartache to the bereaved?

What happened to the phrase "Ili iwe funzo kwako na wengine walio na tabia kama yako" that judges used to use to discourage would-be future offenders?

Tuju accident, per witness reports.

1. Toyota Allion slowed/ stopped to allow a car infront to branch off;
2. The matatu, which was behind the Allion, swerved onto the other lane to avoid hitting the Allion;
3. The matatu collided head-on with Tuju's Prado.

Typical of what happens on Kenya roads... ordinary drivers being courteous, slowing to let others branch off. Matatus overtaking/ overlapping dangerously. VIPs speeding in their prados/mercedes/ Range Rovers leaving no anticipatory time for reaction in case of emergencies. When will the carnage end?

Life is short. Live passionately.

From being on the road for many years, I think this verdict we cannot judge from passive thinking. A lot has to be considered around the facts that the judge used to. Reach the verdict.

For example, if a mlevi staggered towards your path while you are at 80kmph, and you judge that if you swive you'll likely roll, after the cops will put ypu up for dangerous driving charge.

A judge has to find a way to comfort the victim family without seriously punishing you.....

I thought a macedes should have 12 airbags, antiroll cage to protect driver, fire suppressant, proximity sensors, laser collision avoidance, lane departure warning etc. Unless all those are marketing gimmicks to lure (con) unsuspecting buyers.

Tuju was heading to a funeral not the same as a drunk conman trying out his latest acquisition.
