Iran will be attacked. Read between the lines. We are energy independent so we do not care about disrupting the oil trade market for the rest of the world by invading Iran.

The European Union and China are currently the worlds biggest buyers of oil. America can't go to war with them directly so you increase their costs of doing business by attacking Iran and increasing oil prices.

This guy is really serious about making America Great again and his strategy seams to be to throw roadblocks in others paths.

@Kusadikika you have put it well Applause Applause

Many people have opened their eyes nowadays. We are no longer in the 90s when they could fool the whole world. Fortunately today, very few people can be fooled by their moves anymore!

trump will not attack Iran. he wants to win the next election. If America gets bogged down in another war, trump will lose his base and energize Democrats. He can't risk losing the next election. Gone are the days when being a war president was a huge advantage. Americans are now sick of seeing their soldiers coming back with horrific wounds. And the cost of these wars is enormous. Not to mention that america is still bogged down in Afghanistan, Iraq and even Syria.

There wont be any war!! Right now they are trying to figure out how those cruise missiles and drones reached their targets completely undetected in densely protected air space. A war means inviting more of them again, which is what the Saudis don't want right now. They need to do some patching up. The only thing that is guaranteed to happen is that arms sales will go up. I can see some smiles in Russia to provide alternatives to the patriots that could see nothing.

The use of such small drones to deliver bombs very worrying for humanity. The future terrorist may be a teenager in the ghetto who only needs a drone and a small dirty bomb

@Alpha... thought the same too of you. It's not the Saudis who are wondering about the failure to detect the attack but their arms suppliers whom you know too well.... so until they figure out how to deal with that they wont fire anything... and that fits well with what the Saudis want too... not to be fired at again for now... and that attack has opened the arms market wide..... do the maths boss

Iranian military leader killed - Qasem Soleimani, the head of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force unit, was killed in an airstrike by US forces at Baghdad airport. The deputy head of Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), an Iran-backed paramilitary force, was also killed in the strike

Iran calls for revenge; Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed to avenge Soleimani whom he called a martyr.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is cutting short an official visit to Greece and returning home following the airstrike in Iraq, according to his office. He was originally scheduled to return Saturday night.

There's been no statement from Netanyahu yet, but his government is preparing for a possible retaliation from Iran, reports CNN's Oren Liebermann.

"Israel knows quite well that Iran could choose to respond not towards the US, but towards Israel, and that's because of the proximity of Iran's proxies and Iran's allies," Liebermann explained.

Uncle Sam is owning up assassinating Iran's Qassem Soleimani. It is becoming okay for them to just kill anyone they wish, if they don't like your stand they kill you. Who is the obvious terrorist now? Bully of the world! And @nandwa is cheering them on in killing.

Uncle Sam's persistent aggression towards others! And @nandwa do not see anything wrong supporting tyranny!

This latest attack plays right into the hands of the Ayattollahs because it distracts the attention of the Iranian public from their economic problems and redirects the anger to the USA. The Ayatollahs have kept themselves in power for decades by calling for war with Israel and America.

Israel has done the same thing. Everytime netanyahu needs a distraction, he goes to the American congress to warn them about the so called Iranian threat. He has done this since the early 1990s when he predicted that Iran was 3-5 years away from a nuclear weapon.

Now trump too is wagging the dog to distract attention from the impeachment proceedings. He can now accuse Democrats of siding with Iran the way Pro-Bush demagogues did in the runup to the IRaq war.

All three sets of leaders are winning.
