Because its competitors across the region enjoy such state protection, thus making the KQ ticket price unattractive in comparison. Plus GoK holds 48% of the airline stock, thus its demise/diminished return is a direct hit to taxpayers COOP, IMH, KEGN, KQ, MTNU
