@maichbleck. It will be a one day scrample. Your order may never get executed. The share will not hold at 15/= for more than a day. The post rights NAV is 12/=. What does that tell you?

You do not need to just be better off. It must be significant financial welfare. At 16/=, add transaction cost. It is not significantly different from 17/= cost included. You might be unlucky to pick lots of 100 shares wich will raise transaction cost by some margin. My bottom line is, it makes no sense to skip the rights (if you are already in) for you to gamble x-rights.

Pls read my post above about the information memorandum that was released by KCB on this offer.

According Warren Buffet, an investor has to view buying a stock as buying a piece of that company. At 17/= you are buying a company with a branch network of 210. 1/= for 12 branches. It is not a joke.

So far, KCB is the only fully integrated EAC bank. Each of the 210 branches, from Rumbek, Arua, Lokichogio, to Zanzibar, and the existensive network of ATMs are all running on one platform. Today, EAC becomes a fully integrated customs union. Businessmen in EA have access to their accounts through 210 branches. Which is the bank of choice in EAC?

this is false...all kcb subsidiaries bar south sudan are loss making so technically the number is inxs of 15....hey about south sudan i here the Bank of southern sudan is set to control their currency thus kcb's super normal profits from fx trading is in serious jeopardy...methinks kcb sudan will soon join the subsidiaries in the red bandwagon

KCB Rights make their debut in the NSE.
First trades:
Time Price Quantity Board
11:22 1.05 7,000 NORMAL
11:18 1.05 14,200 NORMAL

With clear demand springing for both the share and rights issue...
Demand_______________________Supply
› KCB 1,008,000...18.60_______18.65...327,800
› KCB-R 1,423,800...1.05________1.65...239,000

Can man really foretell the future!
