@wkari; Hi, I'm currently testing a forex trading strategy aimed at making low but consistent gains with emphasis on leveraging on compounding gains. If you are interested in following my progress, check out the daily updated stats at http://penwise.webs.com/...rapreneur-trading-secret
that is, if international forex trade cuts it as 'an investment in Kenya'

Well this website doesn't exist anymore. Clearly a statistic of companies that don't survive the 5 year mark!
I hope no one invested here!

Most will accept 5k to start. Some even 2k.
Withdrawal is on demand. Just allow 3 days for EFT to be effected - most transfer funds to your bank account in a matter of hours!
You can withdraw as much as you wish... some have minimum balances of about 2k - 5k. Some don't - I have one with 900bob!
I don't know people keep glorifying T-Bills and Fixed deposits. Money Market Unit Trust Funds have been out-performing them every month for the last five years!
Oh, and BTW, you don't have to go to them to open the account; you just call them to your office and they come running with all the forms!

Management fees are minimal: 2% pa .. and it is collected monthly (0.17%), up-front. So, the earnings you see in your statement are NET of fees.
Withholding tax is 15% of earnings. Also collected upfront [just like in the case of FXD & T-Bills]. Thus what you see in your monthly statement is the net - yote ni pesa yako!
The well-managed funds are earning around 9% monthly after tax and fees. Compounded is about 9.4%
The only thing better is M-Akiba.....if only CBK can do better publicity!
