Funny coming from a country that has dominated the region for ages. You are more likely to find a Kyuk selling Mitumba in Kigali than a Tanzanian in Nairobi. In any case Tz and UG mainly export menial labour(Househelps and wives) while Kenyans take the best jobs in those countries.

Context is very important in understanding a message especially when it's dog whistle. Kikuyus use songs "nyimbo" to communicate. Ask someone to translate the many "jeshi ti ngenu" songs. You will understand what Jaguar was communicating. The natives are restless.

Oh give us a break please. Ati Natives are restless. What a load of bullshit. With over a million Kenyans in the Diaspora, of which 60% plus are Kikuyus? If the Natives of the countries hosting them "become restless" as Gikomba lot, what happens?
We need to learn to be more tolerant and accommodating.

Every country in the world from the US to Kenya has immigration laws and those laws should be respected.

Free market liberal economies don't seem to work for most people. A state is obliged to protect and provide welfare to her citizens. Therefore, the GOK needs to do something for her citizens.

Within the law, yes..... but a lawmaker telling Wanjiku to go out and put foreigners to the stake is stupidity of the highest order.

Both govts need to stop stunting and sideshows....There needs to be a compromise btwn the two govts...Tz had feelings about Slyvia Mulinges job, chicken, milk saga etc...All are in the public domain...Inciting violence is wrong however there needs to be a pragmatic and systemic solution to open borders and immigration...I feel both countries need each other therefore both govts need to be fair and honest with each other...My three cents...

Threats and violence never solve anything...

Do we have clueless legislators ?
I don't understand why parliament cannot pass a bill allowing all foreign traders in but at a higher cost. Manipulate the cost and make it prohibitive and only those with really lucrative businesses will manage to survive.

Same applies at the ports of entry. Slap a stupid law that sidesteps the comesa/eac laws and make the goods more expensive than the local products. That way people buy the foreign goods at a real premium.

maybe because they have looked at it and figured that kenyans benefit more from the situation than it is than the other countries. have you figured just how much we export to those other countries? there is a reason why we have had what hmmmn is calling chicken sagas etc. and do you know how many kenyans are working (illegally and legally) in other east african countries as opposed to those working in kenya? this seems to be a more a case of clueless madhaquer than legislators.
