So how much have you lost in the stock market this year? Last year? The last five years combined?? And you think you are having a rough time?? Yours is just but a walk in the park.

Imagine losing 30 Billion in value of your stock holding in just 24 hours

Now imagine having lost approximately 64 Billion Shillings in value of your stock holding since March this year!!!

In March you were worth Kshs. 136 Billion and today you are worth "only" Kshs. 72 Billion. Double Ouch!!!

How to lose a third of your fortune in 24 hours!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

I remember the first Eddie Murphy, stand-up comedy, I watched. That when a millionaire loses half his fortune, its somewhat ok. But when you only have hundreds/thousands and you lose half...

So who was the person who lost that much really ? I clearly don't get it, or it was some sort of a company here ? Please do let me know, is it World Wrestling Entertainment ? I see them trading as of $83 per stock price, so it's really adds up just now.

Mike Maina Kamau top individual KQ shareholder had 64,398,940 shares prior to restructuring, held at a last traded cost of KES 5.30 per share worth KES 341M .. After the restructuring, dilution was effected at a ratio of 4:1 implying current holding of 16,099,735 at KES 3.30 worth KES 53M.. Worth noting that he held his position over many years thus his actual ABP could be as high as KES 30 per share or more.. KES 1.9B turned into KES 53M.. A sad case

HF 30,000 ABP 3.49; KQ 414,100 ABP 7.92; MTN 15,750 ABP 6.45
