I don't think there was any patronage here. This Majiwa guy was scattering helter skelter from different places after only one month of occupancy. If there was a godfather involved, he would have been staying put in the same place for long. This is just a super daring guy who bit more than he could chew when he started fooling around with Arap Singh.

My worry is that this wash-wash and fake gold business may turn ugly and go the akasha gangland style. You can't con people hundreds of millions and then think life will go on as usual.
