The pertinent question from Ken would have been, where did he get the resources to acquire all that land?? And please don't mention the matatu business that he was involved in. That was also a front. It is a curious fact that of all the illusions that beset mankind, none is quite as curious as that tendency to suppose that we are mentally and morally superior to those who differ from us in opinion.

The cartel have taken control of thousands of acres of land in coast and Nairobi and have been selling them for the last 30 years. Sonko and other powerful people are at the top of the scheme. I know a number of white families who experienced hell until they left, 2 lived in Karen and owned a huge property, went to college with the son and told me about multiple break ins, threats until they went on exile in South Africa, when they tried to sell their property it wasn't theirs anymore, new names etc. Another girl who was a "friend" back then lived in a huge property in Malindi same thing happened until the moved to UK.

If you own land and you don't know how to renew it, then you don't need it. It should rightfully go to the next person willing to invest.
