I think it is a psychological affair for those who haven't registered to feel like they have been left behind, to encourage them join the que.

I went to do mine over the weekend, what a badly thought out process.

You fill a form, the clerk then goes and fills all the same details on her tablet. Why not just let me do that online (like for passport) and then just come to submit biometrics?

Also, the fingerprint sensors are rubbish, causes huge delays.

They then take photos of the bloody form and upload it, LOL.

All in all, a useless exercise in my opinion.

Boss, let the government throw some little money to the young people... This is the employment they were talking about, it doesn't have to make sense.

It is possible that they have achieved that number. I have seen one registration centre in my neighborhood always having long queues from 7 to 5.
