The man was brought down by bread. Price of bread went up and people revolted. Egypt is the same thing, you don't mess with the price of bread. In India the sensitive commodity is Onions (Kitunguu).

I detest these army takeovers because soldiers get used to it. Like Egypt. They give civilians a short reign then take power back

For all their corruption and incompetence Kenya's leadership has been politically very sensitive to this phenomenon. At no point has it ever gained revolutionary momentum. A few hundred guys show up in Nairobi and CS shows up to say prices will come down next week and they do.
