Two superb goals from Ghana.....but overall performance not very convincing....and as much as i am routing for them,i think they will be exposed by Uruguay....Today,the three rained on lions are going home!!
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

who can argue with the resident sage? uruguay seem better on paper, but if ghana seal those gaps at the back, they should be able to surprise everyone. I wish them well. today the 'pussy cats' mascarading as the '3 lions' are going home.... in cattle class on BA.....

Isn't SAF a genius?? That he deferred negotiations for Rooney's contract extension until after WC speaks volumes..wonder how his agents will negotiate................

@ McReggae, you sure deserve a "consolation beer". Name a place. And after the consolation, please discover a team worthy supporting, not the 3 lions...sorry the 3mice

Okay so Ghana 2 1 USA was nailbitting. But man the Germany 4 1 England, one must wonder, what would be the outcome if Lampard's goal was allowed?

Quarter Final 3:

Germany Vs Argentina

Germany showed us why football was made in Germany and not England. The Argentinians comfortably won as expected. Well played both teams! smile

the overrated spice boys finally put in their placed'oh! d'oh!
the english media can go on n talk about the disallowed goal the whole of next week but that wont change the fact,England got no talent!
just imagine if they won with such a margin....you would see all sorts of hot air out-of-this-world headlines.
At least world cup starts now...
