Nothing less than $200m per person lost should be acceptable in the two incidences especially after Trump’s PR admission. Does Trump speak for Boeing? His admission is not Boeing's admission. That's the point. Boeing is an American company and the main suspect in these cases. We therefore cannot take their word. On the other hand Trump has all the facts including security briefings as relates to allowing this aircraft to fly above the US. He has already created the perseption that Boeing is guilty and I'm sure he did it with facts. BBI will solve it :)

Quote:(CNN) - Pilots transitioning to the Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft from older 737 models were given a short, self-administered online course that made no mention of a new system now at the center of two crash investigations, pilots' unions spokesmen for two American carriers told CNN. Pilots of Southwest Airlines and American Airlines took courses -- lasting between 56 minutes and three hours -- that highlighted differences between the Max 8 and older 737s, but did not explain the new maneuvering characteristics augmentation system, know as MCAS, the spokesmen said. Boeing should just take responsibility early!

Boeing should just take responsibility early! Boeing already took responsibility. The CEO said they will be uploading an updated software onto all Max planes to correct the issues. Now, if that's not admission of guilt, I don't knoa what is. BBI will solve it :)

Same issue as the Lion Air crash where MCAS activated and made plane uncontrollable. Boeing is doomed. https://www.bbc.com/news/business-47745191
Quote:Officials probing the crash in Ethiopia of a Boeing 737 Max have preliminarily concluded that a flight-control feature automatically activated before it crashed, the Wall Street Journal says.
The newspaper, citing unnamed sources, says the findings were relayed on Thursday at a briefing at the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The flight-control feature is meant to help prevent the plane from stalling.
The Manoeuvring Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS) flight-control feature was also implicated in a fatal crash by Lion Air flight in Indonesia last year.
Together, the two crashes have claimed 346 lives.

"Sources" now say crash was caused by a bird strike. That the bird damaged the sensor which went haywire. I think they now want to blame some birds to escape liability. Is "sources" = Boeing? You can imagine the billions in compensation to victims and airlines if MCAS is to blame for crash. They will do everything to escape blame. https://abcnews.go.com/P...e_4380645_null_hero_hed
Quote:The Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 MAX, which crashed in March and killed 157 people, suffered a damaged angle-of-attack sensor upon takeoff from a bird or foreign object, triggering erroneous data and the activation an anti-stall system -- called MCAS -- sending the pitch of the plane downward and ultimately crashing into the ground, two aviation sources familiar with the investigation told ABC News.
As the jet was nose diving, the Boeing 737 MAX pilots did not try to electronically pull the nose of the plane up before following Boeing's emergency procedures of disengaging power to the horizontal stabilizer on the rear of the aircraft, according to the sources.
One source told ABC News that they manually attempted to bring the nose of the plane back up by using the trim wheel. Soon after, the pilots restored power to the horizontal stabilizer.
With power restored, the MCAS was re-engaged, the sources said, and the pilots were unable to regain control and the plane crashed.

@hardwood, slowly by slowly, you are now realizing how it feels when information is doctored to suite those who controls. Remember: "History is written by the victor, the strongest the most determined. But truth is most found in the silence, in the quiet places" by Kate Mosse
So you know where truths are, even the ones you normally write here on Wazua...

“The victor will never be asked if he told the truth" ― Adolf Hitler
And we always see @hardwood post stuff so convincingly... The basic rule is: you should always take it with a pinch of salt.
