It shouldn't be a shocker given the run rate as @Obiero observed. But also the piling up of govt paper as opposed to lending isn't so bad given the uncertain environment

Igathe has been let to head the Kenyan subsidiary. From what I see, I think James is grooming Mary Wamae to take over after his final contract is over. She is currently group director overseeing subsidiaries after being a long-serving director of strategy and also appears to be second in command.

Equity could need the funds to fund the new and growing businesses eg DRC. I prefer firms pay low dividends to Rights Issues.
