I saw an ad in yesterday's Nation where Mhasibu was advertising plots for sale in Ruiru.

I understand from people all their past projects have been hits and extremely profitable for buyers.

How will this one do? Am so tempted to put money and get a couple of plots, they're not so expensive.

I Didnt see yesterday 'Nation'

What are sizes , how far from Ruiru and what is the price?

would be interested .

Call call Carol 0770443633 at Mhasibu. Its 190k for an eigth...9km from Ruiru....is that a good price? Seems fair

@kulahepi,

been sniffin around there. but my hopes were dashed upon finding that the orig. title is NOT in their name and worse they do not even have a deed plan. Wacha nikimbie ruai ama syokimau- omundu khu mundu.

Most in syokimau are on certificate , unlikely to get one with title.Price very high.
You are most likely to be conned there(syokimau and Ruai).

I think Mhasibu is one of the most respectable and transparent saccos we have in kenya.

Its headed by accountants and you know accountants are very conservative .Though Im not a member, I have friends who are Mhasibu sacco members and they always praise it .Members in this forum can confirm.

I agree with haiyaa, buying from Mhasibu is better than any other vendor...they will NOT con.

I will buy, this looks like a good long-term project with decent returns.

I also think they are worth a gamble. But before I plunge, I wonder if a check of the prices in the neighboring area might seem cheaper - the risk not withstanding. Anybody with price info of this area??

Which side of Ruiru?bypass?Last yr plots of the same size on the bypass were going for 250k

I visited the Mhasibu plots located exactly 11kms from Juja town (and not Ruiru as earlier depicted)THe farm hasn't been sub-divided yet but they will after the land has been bought and paid in full. An eighth goes for ksh 190k which is cheap. There is no reliable means of transport and the cotton soil is not good for vegetation. Tall trees cannot also survive due to underground rock which is very close to the service. However, building stones are readily available there and the building foundation will cost much cheaper. Mhasibu says it will be a controlled development and one can pay in bits. Both members and non-members are elligible to buy
