Most of the bodies of the 157 people including 32 Kenyans who perished in the Ethiopian plane crash will never be recovered, identified and buried.

Grieving relatives and friends who flew to Addis Ababa in hopes of retrieving something will be devastated by the lack of remains.

A BBC interview, the CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Tewolde Gebremariam said most of the bodies were reduced to ashes by the intense heat of the fire and only a few pieces have been recovered.

“By the time I reached the site on Sunday the plane was completely underground and there was no sign of it above the ground. We had to dig up the wreckage to try and find bodies.

Was the accident site a swampy place? How did th plane sink down like that?
Can someone explain please.
The ground, from the photos shared, looks like a hard ground.

They could collect the ashes and share it among the victims families for ‘burial’

Maybe they can use the same process that was used to identify 9/11 victims at world trade center.

I think this happened the same way you throw a spear to the ground. So imagine a 30 tonne object travelling at 2times the speed of sound

In all plane crashes the tail survives. But in this case even the tail went underground and disintegrated. I think the pilot must have tried to pull the aeroplane nose up at full engine throttle but the plane never responded but hit the ground at maximum speed and hence the severity of the crash. If a 40m long 80 ton plane ended underground in smithereens then the passengers must have been squashed into a jelly and that is why there are no bodies, or even bones.

As much as the Ethiopian Air insurance is compensating families at around 25million, the families should sue Boeing. Nothing less than $200m per person lost should be acceptable in the two incidences especially after Trump’s PR admission.

BBI will solve it

Does Trump speak for Boeing? His admission is not Boeing's admission.
