The one who got away. He went to protest after missing the doomed flight by 2 minutes and this is what he was told:

Quote:
“They led me to the police station of the airport. The officer told me not to protest but to pray to God because I was the only passenger that didn’t board the ET 302 flight that was lost,” Mavropoulos said in his post in which he admits being in shock.

The airport authorities explained that they wanted to question him because he was the only passenger booked onto the doomed flight who wasn’t on board.

“They said they couldn’t let me go before cross-checking my identity, the reason I hadn’t boarded the plane etc.”

Being only 1000 feet above ground, those people must have been all alive until the moment of impact. The real horror was those descending minutes to impact

To the contrary it’s a better way to go compared to what we have out there. Quick, instantaneous and painless.

Does Kq operate B-737 Max 8?, if yes, have they decided to remove them from flight schedule as a precautionary safety measure.

If the plane looks like that you can imagine the bodies. They must be pieces of flesh, pulverized, totally minced. Will be very difficult to ID them or put someone's bits together.

Though I have my reservations abt this flight. ET has been making inroads as a regional leader.

I have just been looking at this aircraft making business since this tragedy was reported and I am surprised at how it works. The industry is dominated by just 2 companies, Boeing and Airbus and their customer service is just horrendous!! Look at this:

This is orders vs deliveries. And I am sure they are not taking orders without deposit payment of some kind.

In what other industry do people place orders 6 years before they can get the product? As at now they have more than 5000 orders for the plane and have only delivered 350. The situation at Airbus is not as bad but there is still a long wait.

Wacha the Chinese start building planes these 2 companies will become like steel factories in the US. I am sure the Chinese will reduce that wait time to months or weeks and reduce the price by 80%. That plane that you wait 6 years to get costs $100 million for the cheapest one!!!

There's only one problem.. nobody has faith with the Chinese products. Though some of this tragedies are still happening to European or American products . Long term Reliability and safety questions will plague the Chinese planes for a long time. Remember cheap is also expensive

@Kusadikika you are right. But the problem is the Trade War! If the Chinese succeed, the threatened "guys" will stage terr0r attacks that will look like machine failures, the inn0cent passengers are the c0llateral damage! Just like how they manage to create fake, photoshop videos about alleged plastic rice, human meat, plastic egg etc etc all fake with the sole purpose of discrediting the China man. Trade War is real Pray

@mpobiz, China make all types of products, (1). genuine, (2). fake good copy, (3). fake bad copy, (4). fake bad bad copy... The problem is our people who source goods and other supplies from manufacturers in China go for the cheapest, which in most cases is the fake good copy or fake bad copy. And they do this because we are cheap lot, we do not want to buy original.

Also, China manufacturers make according to requirements. The goods are for different markets: (1). American market, (2). European market, (3). Asian market, and of course (4). African market... You can guess which market those useless products you see in our stores are! If you want to prove, go check out the second hand bikes imported from Europe or American... It says right there "Made in China".

Faith will come with time.

This Chinese company is only 10 years old (Boeing is more than 100 years old):

http://english.comac.cc/

Give it another 10-20 years and it will be producing cheaper, better planes.
