A bunch of 21 yr lads captained by a 19 yr old knocked out the mighty Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeau.

The budget for the Ajax 1st,reserve and youth teams is less than Gareth Bale's annual pay! Let that one sink a bit.

Thanks, but I will take it with a pinch of salt, unverified............ "Marc Overmars, the technical director of Ajax, the former Arsenal winger, was explaining today that Gareth Bale, on his own, has exactly the same in wage package per season as the entire Ajax squad.
