End of story, Shauri yake. Lesson learnt that she should not look a gift horse in the mouth. Let's move on.

Somehow looking at the house, you
don't expect such a gift from PORK. Though she sheould have taken it for the sake of the land. Pole kwake, what a loss!!!

Whoever was given the responsibility to build the house definitely ate, lakini this is Kenya seems that part of the deal nobody cares about!

The kitchen window is always higher coz of the sink at 900mm height then the 200mm backsplash course. That said the top should have been level with the other window.

Window tops are always level because of the presence of a ring beam round a building. The fact that the windows of this ugly house are not level at the top means that there is no ring beam at all. Pesa ilinyonywa vilivyo.

The house is built on a sloppy terrain to the right hand of the house....so the window on the lower terrain must sink below the other window...physics 101.

The house could have some historic significance after all. It resembles the Lodwar cells where the Kapenguria six were detained.

How is it ugly? You go to many of the govt staff quarters and that is how the govt builds houses. Very cost effective rectangular 2 bdrm houses.

Also regarding that window on the rejected house, you only need to hire a fundi for a day to allign the window to your liking.

While the woman was complaining that the compound was full of weeds, the new owner is busy preparing the land to plant some sukuma and other crops in the coming rains.

Not necessarily. You can make the floor (slab??) level in which case the windows will be on the same level. Otherwise your house would have two levels maybe separated by one or two steps - in this case it would make sense to have a lower window.

I am now fully surprised this house seems to have a flushable toilet inside....wow!
And there is a neighbor home nearby,so it's not isolated as earlier claimed.
That woman will continue using a communal filthy latrine...what a sad decision she made!

Compared to Zuma's low cost houses/US/USSR/Ekeza concrete jingles, this is a beauty.

I'm sure if it was I & I, would have secured it kwanza then talk with Banda homes after I'm given the title smile

They set expectations with this house built for the Deputy President so Kenyans have expectations. How dare you give DP a palace and give Damaris a kibanda ?

Eeeh?

Who said its govt property? The land was subdivided by the owner and sold as plots. This woman just said no to that land.
