Quote:A Chinese contractor has finally begun construction of the 16.7-kilometre Western bypass.
The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) is implementing the project, which is being undertaken by the China Road and Bridge Corporation, at a cost of Sh17 billion.
KeNHA Director General Peter Mundinia said the road construction was financed by the Exim Bank of China and would run for 39 months.
“The road project starts from Gitaru and terminates at Ruaka on the Northern bypass in Kiambu County," Eng Mundinia said.

Meanwhile, I used the newly constructed Waiyaki way (ABC place) - nyari/redhill bypass and it's nyweeee. I thought it was supposed to connect to the northern bypass and not terminate at Nyari?

its the same only better! main throughway, service lanes overpasses and such You will know that you have arrived when money and time are not mutually exclusive "events" in you life!

Is the road to ABC place done! Ala! Where exactly is this point in the picture? You can share google map coordinates... Some of us we do not know Redhill blah blah

16.7-kilometre Western bypass = at a cost of Sh17 billion.. How much is it to construct a kilometer of road? When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.
