Webish, learning stock-trading is like learning swimming it's practical not theory. Unless you are ready to get wet you will never learn how to swim no matter how many ideas you get. Take your ID go open a CDS account and buy the KCB rights and watch as your portfolio loses half its value. If you are able to survive six months after watching half of money gone, you are ready for stock-taking. Otherwise you will never learn how to swim by watching people swim.

@Webish..It's never too early to start however we have all different strategies why we do what we do. My advice always buy cheap value stocks, every so often when you can increase your shareholding, now this is where my advice differs, you are in UNI,go drink beer, chase girls but above all else read and read..Graduate get a good job and now you can enter the game. My strategy is long-term bought some blue-chips when i was in UNI(a while ago), half the time i know nothing bout them but every end of year i evaluate however am getting close to the magic number 10 years a few more years, then i will see...Good Luck

Already chased em long enough. Good one though. ha.

@mkonomtupu. u are dead right, but hey, hata swimming people are normally told do this and that once you get into the water. and while in the water, then you can always make decisions as you go. what i'm saying i just need to know 1+1=2 first before i can multiply 1*1. I appreciate what you say though.

ProverB, it is treasonous not to mention to Webish a colossus like VVS. This guy is the ultimate fundamentalist.
Na umewacha wapi sparkly, guru267, sheep, mukiha, Gekko, cnn, 2012, Wa_ithaka, Njunge(although nowadays he thinks he's too old to frequently comment on stocks) the deal(yes, he who is obsessed with KQsmile) qw(our very own technical analyst) na wengine wote.
Thank God for Wazua.
