A dead beat could be a father or mother who neglect their duty of parenthood. For fear of retribution by wazuans, it's worth noting that dead beat fathers outnumber mothers.

Now that we have that cleared, I just noticed the case where Diamond Platinum's father has resurfaced out of the woodwork to participate in his seed's success.

Now, I understand that it is widely expected for his son to just accept, forgive the past and move on somehow but what if he choice is to excommunicate the man? Would it be held against him?

What would you do?

BBI will solve it

You just honor your parents but retain a sense of justice and autonomy.

Remember that by young adulthood all conflict over identity needs to have been settled. Part of the settlement needs to have been accepting your 'deadbeat' father.

Who are we to judge? Platinumz himself has women and children all over the place.
Life is short. Live passionately.
