The first half has just ended. The young Ghanaian team is playing quite well. The Germans are as composed as ever. Will Ghana make Africa proud? Lets cross our fingers..

also hopping so. it's the last african team hopeful. Ghana is strong.

Life is joy, death is peace, but the transition is very difficult.

In other words bwana Impunity, Ghana will be the only African team in the second round, giving credence for those calling for a reduction in the number of African teams competing at the World Cup

Ghana is a good team in all departments... apart from the final third. They have issues on the business end of the pitch.

This Ghanaian team is not impressive. Would have preferred progression to second round by either Cameroon or Cote d'Ivoire. The pedigree these two teams possess is clearly lacking in the Ghanaian team. As things stand, am not sanguine.

That defence is poor.....It was breached severally by the germans and its only by sheer good luck that the scoreline ultimately looked respectable. For how long will they ride their luck? A team that struggles to score from open play has both tactical and technical issues to deal with.

After Asamoah Gyan was substituted, some fans were cursing loudly who would score for Ghana when they are awarded their customary penalty.

By the way yesterday's result means that one of the United States, Uruguay, South Korea or Ghana are guaranteed to be semi-finalists. So Ghana can go far if only they figure out where the opponent's net is and put the ball in there during normal play.
When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.
