In a recent interview with the Nation, I really came to admire the prowess nature of Humphrey Kariuki in business... Petroleum supply to Southern Sudan, Power generation stations construction in Zambia, Energy related procurements in Malawi, a conservancy ranch around Mt Kenya and a hotel and ethanol manufacturing plant in Thika etc.
But, wait a minute this did not go well in some quarters and now he is already a fugitive in big trouble, perhaps because of how he makes his money.
KRA wants the guy alive for evading paying taxes at the rate of ksh 3 billion per month from the alcohol plant in Thika.
Police wants him for smuggling alcohol from Tanzania and manufacturing and distributing alcohol that is not fit for human consumption.Eish!!
...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...
