He was destined to be a city politician and only moved to Othaya after the death of his friend Tom Mboya .He could not face Jael Mbogo on his own. Truth forever on the scaffold

I do not hope to retire. As long as my brain is functioning well, I'm not retiring. Retiring the Kenyan way kills many men. So as you plan your retirement finances, plan your activities as well and for your fathers too. Eg - plan to mentor others in your field or in gender matters as a counselor, supervise construction for your kids or your own, farm, get farm animals, go see the world if you have money, build a business, learn music and coding, just do something... loneliness and inactivity will kill you faster.

Well put. Thus the need to remember that at 40yrs, you have another 45yrs of active life. You can afford to pace yourself, start that kaproject that may not bring in much now but will be absolutely vital for your overall wellbeing when you hit 65. Whatever I do, I always ask myself, " how will this activity help me when I am 65yrs. How will it affect my life at that time. Its hard to project but I think its necessary.
