A CS allied and close to top TangaTanga, tried to block the deportation of a known money printing criminal of Cameroonian nationality. Before his appointment to the cabinet, the CS is known to have been heavily involved in money printing. Halafu munauliza where all this harambee money is coming from my fren. It's cleaning money. We are in YK92 all over again!!Pray

We probably have more information than we used to in the past, hence it is old tricks being exposed. Sometimes I feel like giving up on the country but sth nice happens every so often.

CS Mucheru appoints murder suspect to a state job. Looks like this country is so short of honest and hard working Kenyans so much that, in the very near future, Uhuru and his jinga CSs will visit prisons looking for people to recruit for state jobs.Sad Sad Sad Sad MUGS!!

Appointing professionals who are non-politicians to the cabinet was supposed to rid the system of incompetent people.
Unfortunately the CS who have been appointed are either incompetent or corrupt.

There are remedies that are possible:

1. Hire every CS on a performance contract
2. Monthly financial audits of each ministry
3. Wealth audits for every CS

As an example, the CS for tourism should be paid based on the number of tourists who visit. The CS for finance should be paid based on measures like inflation rate. This will ensure that only competent people accept these positions. Hiring politicians like Balala and Wamalwa is a lousy idea. Hiring illiterate people like Achesa is even worse. They don't care because they get paid big money whether they are competent or not and they can siphon funds into their own bank account.

Balala is doing very well. The tourist numbers grew by 37% so your argument does not hold water.

The issue is, these parastatal board positions are usually dished out to parties not just here but even in countries we try to emulate. So the question we should be asking is which party got to front these names? Hint* others on the list include Beatrice Marshall

@murchr
Your argument in support of politicians is bogus. Yes Balala is one exception. But how well have the other politicians done?

Lets take Achesa for example. Explain to us how hiring a politician like Achesa instead of a competent person is a good idea.

I did not for one bit say Echesa is good as an individual he is bogus and was from the word go. Again, who fronted his name? Let not blame tags... blame individuals

I dont know who fronted him. I know he was an OODM youth leader who later switched to Jubilee and was rewarded.

Whom to blame?
None other than the president. Why hire a primary school dropout for such a serious position?
