N. Korea played like that against Brazil for pride not to advance. I think they'll incur heavy losses against Ivory Coast and Portugal. When the smallest team meet the biggest team they play their hearts out.

Roumors......Patrce Evra dropped from France squad to face SA.....I think there is a serious mutiny in that camp!!! SA may just make it.

Finally. Referee and FIFA to the rescue via a dubious red card.

S.A. are useless. With the crowd, FIFA and 3 whole on pitch referees behind them, couldn't they just pull 4 hand of god moves? Hata kama ni ya mkono mbili, who would have noticed? Chanuka bwana!

Like i said earlier, the French Coach got everything wrong. The players who were on the bench would have taken them to the second round if they had been picked to start the matches, Evra does not have what it takes to be captain atleast not in this world cup, Benzema should not have been left out as well as Nasri both of whom are very good in attacking football.

South Africa became the first host in world cup history to be eliminated in the group stages.

Shame on you Hey TAZ thought you to say that vjust coz Evra is a united playerShame on you Shame on you Shame on you .......the man has captained united for more than 7 games, to win the world cup you need to play only seven games, the fact is that the french team has been a sham for four years now, Domenech has never been in control of the dressing room, most senior players did not approve of his methods.....Evra got nothing to do with this!!!!!

After the game, Evra said they will not pick any of their bonusesApplause , as ked for forgiveness from the french peopleApplause and promised an interview in a week's time to let the world know exactly what happenned in their camp!!!!

I will be cheering on the slovenians today at 5pm. akina rooney and lampard are over-rated, over-hyped, over-glorified by their useless media.... who plays for slovenia again??? as for our oga boys, how could that guy have missed jana? empty goal, he was about 2 metres away and was 'centered'??? how? ama mganga alilipwa na pesa za wash-wash? seriously, seems not a single african team will advance to the last 16. what a shame. there goes the campaign for more spots at the world cup for africa.

McReggae....Evra is a very good player truth be told i think he is one of the best Left backs in the world but the French team lacked leadership both on and off the pitch...It was quite clear that most members of the team wanted Henry to start, i was not suprised to see Diarra hand Henry the Armband immediately after he came in.

Why did Anelka insult the Coach, what are these "methods" that the players were so much against and What happened between Evra and the Fitness Coach?

@jah man....if i were you I would avoid heartache by steering clear of those three lions!! Tomorrow their media for sure will be crucifying someone, and most probably that someone will be an Italian.

I think Algeria is the best bet for Africa now...i pray that the black stars do not disappoint just like the eagles

Nice one @Kivaru...

As Pondi says, England is over everything, those of you who have watched FIFA WC Classics will agree that the only reason England won in 1966 was because Pele was kicked out of the world cup by the Portuguese - LITERALL kicked out! After that Brazil Portugal game is when referees were told to become harsh on fouls.

So as much as Rooney is my guy, the team is bure kabisa. And personally I have chucked all marks I had for Capello, why bench creatives like Joe Cole?

Samba all the way, my hopes for an African team lay in Ghana until they drew against ten men knowing their last game was against a wounded Germany. Time will tell.

All African Teams are eliminated. Expect Ghana. And i will not be suprised if they get eliminated too. Lessons to be learnt are that, Although the Game is supposed to be fair, it is only fair to some.

The seeding of teams philosophy will always ensure that the best teams are never paired in the same group. From qualification stage, all the way mpka the tournament itselve. Meaning, chances of the likes of Kenya ever making it to the world cup remains an elusive dream or a miracle. And when they do, they'll be grouped with Brazil and Denmark and then people will say Africa performs poorly.

Am not defending the likes of Oga's performance, but surely some teams have it easy than others.

As it stands now for the Knock-Out stage:

Uruguay v South Korea

Argentina v Mexico

England Vs Germany

USA Vs Ghana
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.
