If you take a look around , you will see most people with our modern lifestyles are suffering from food imbalance.
They are obese. Tired.Premature aging.
Perhaps you too. Chances are at least one person you love is suffering from the top 3 killers Cancer, heart disease (hypertension) or diabetes.

Well there is a general belief you have to die of something someday. But I belief it is your right to live healthy and die healthy .
Making that vision a reality is everyone's wish but you have to work towards it and start early .

Of all the balances the human body strives to maintain, the most crucial is the the one between acid and base (alkaline).
The body will go to great lengths to maintain the appropriate slightly basic nature of the blood.
But it is all too easy and far too common for body tissues to become acidic.
Such imbalance sets the stage for chaos, opening to sickness and diseases .
Over acidification of body fluids and tissues underlies all diseases.
For one thing it is only when the body is acidic that it is VULNERABLE to germs. In healthy base balance, germs can't get a foot hold.
Furthermore acid is the expression of most sickness and diseases. Proper diet is the only way to safeguard this.

It has been scientifically proven that it takes about 20 times as much base to neutralize amount of acid, so it is better to maintain than to regain balance .

People should be aware that constant acidity of the blood is detrimental to their bone health on the long term.

To maintain PH balance in the blood , when the blood is consistently acidic, the body leaches or depletes calcium from the bones to maintain balance. This degenerates the bones on the long term as the main ingredient Calcium content of the bones is consistently depleted.

In a nutshell acididity in your blood on the long term degrades your bones as calcium from the bones are scooped to maintain pH balance in your blood . That is the priority and body's defensive mechanism .

It is therefore not a surprise that these days there are higher incidence of bone related ailment due to acidity in our system .
Constant consumption of soda drinks and dairy products is dangerous on the long term to our bone health

NO TO SUPPLEMENTS WITH A FEW EXCEPTIONS

There are various tablets in the form of supplements to take care of our diet deficiencies .
These includes vitamins A, B, C, D and even K. It extends to selenium, calcium, magnesium, Omega 3, fish oil, multivitamins
etc. While some are potent the risk factor is that they are inorganic and have some additives which tasks our vital organs while processing and assimilating them.
Our kidneys, liver and lungs are negatively impacted .

My advise is since those nutrients can be got from our foods, fruit and vegetable it is more healthy to derive them from those sources .

For example high milligram of selenium a powerful anti oxidant can be derived from nuts like Brazilian nuts, almond nuts, macademia or cashew nuts. You need a few quantity as a daily intake but you have to be consistent in taking them .

Weed grass juice that is very abundant in kenya is very good source of iron / folic acid and it is extremely potent. A good substitute is the pumpkins like spinache or even pumpkin seeds

A few exceptions where supplements are inevitable includes COQ10 which are produced in limited quantities as one is aging .

Cancer scourge has become very prevalent these days .

Government effort has been to encourage people to carry out test for early detecion.
The fact is early detection of cancer cell is already a big incident. It means there is 30 to 40% cancer cells in your system .

This is only fair, the best attempt is on prevention vis-a-vis life style changes .

HEREDITARY FACTORS AND YOUR HEALTH

I believe your ancestry links has a major role to play in your health.

However by diet and exercise you can really eliminate or minimize this.

From birth every family have a feeding pattern which may not necessarily be healthy.
A slight deviation from the status quo can bring salutary improvement in your long term health .

Peoples perception of cancer are completely at odds what oncologists has succeeded in identifying as trigger factors for cancer.
The gap between the actual causes of cancer and popular belief like hereditary factors (only 15%) and pollution, and exposure to pesticides which constituted s paltry 2%.

Intermittent fasting is a good way to allow your body to heal itself. Alot of studies showing positive results. However, most people will claim, haiwezekani!

I am not some fan of fasting but more of balanced and healthy diet that includes moderate portions of food. I mean, it is scientifically proven that ,if you keep your body fasting for some time, when you start eating normally your body will deposit fats swiftly, which is also not good.

Main points is that for something like bad health and how to battle it - you really need to leave your bad habbits here anyway and all other bad behaviour patterns to most like 30 years or so. I do not understand any other solution in the long term. Take it as advice.
