This is a public update with regards to Atheists In Kenya Society. Following events that led to loss of AIK money, I am pleased to announce that we have reconstituted our leadership and I would like to announce that the Treasurer has been suspended. She will no longer have any role to do with Atheists In Kenya (AIK) Society. Moving forward, we have constituted a team of three, who will be the signatories to our account. These are Ivy, Alex and Johanna. The Vice President of AIK, Elsie resigned as a President, after this scandal, and we thank her for her good work. She is replaced by Eva, our new Vice President. We remain committed to upholding high standards of integrity and financial management. The new leadership has been vetted and are committed to the mission and vision of AIK. I want to assure all the members of AIK that cases of misappropriation of funds are a thing of the past. Thank you!

Hahahahahaha. Guilty as charged. Even my atheist brethren have a weakness for money. I think stealing is deeply ingrained in Kenyans DNA. I honestly think corruption should be legally classified as a national disaster. It's unbelievable just how deep this disease has affected us.

Take heart. Even with us, for 30 pieces of silver, Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus Christ.

Is there redemption in Atheism? Ama ukiiba wewe ni mwisi bas!?

Hi Mukiri

Redemption should be jail if he is found guilty. People need to take responsibility for their actions. This country has a horrible horrible culture of people trying to reap where hey did not sow. I honestly don't know how we will end this thieving cancer in Kenya.

Mukiri, can you confirm that Judas did not buy chrome rims on his camel with the 30 pieces of silver? I heard he pimped his camel out and also bought a mean stereo system with DVD and installed it on the back of the camel's head. Is that true?

Laughing out loudly Could be. My sources tell me he hanged himself. Probably found out that money and all trappings that come with it, are all vanity. That there are other things(God?) worth living for. Maybe without them, worth dieing for.

I thought after he bought is ka-plot with his loot, he then fell head first, burst asunder in his midst his bowels gushed out and that is how he died. What amazes me is how no one knows the kaburi of this sucker who betrayed the Son of God, yet clearly the gospels have at least two versions of how he died!

A layman describing a car accident, and the coroner therefater might give different accounts of death ie He got hit by a bus and died vs he died from internal injury etc

My take, he hanged himself. Stayed that way for a while rotting and bloating. Finally fell down and burst.

There is no contradiction surrounding Judas’ death; rather, merely two descriptions given by two different authors of the same event. Matthew a layman and Luke a doctor

As an Atheist are there some value framework or you are just guided by Morals? If guided by Morals, can we argue that the "Thief" is moral since s/he did the right thing based on his/her reason and on her/his value framework?

On what basis/morals/value framework have you determined that s/he should be in prison? What would he be guilty of if atheist do not have any value frameworks?

So if Hamburglar goes to some of the middle east countries with stoning as a capital punishment, He will happily participate in stoning an adulterous woman to death?

BTW legality and Morals are not the same and in most cases not compatible

Middle East? Sharia iko papa hapa

Im earnestly waiting to hear about Aethism guide. Is it written? What is two Aethists differ on principle, is there recourse? Say, if the accountant couldn't stand watching kids starve and used the money to uplift someone...

What does this guide say about letting other religious folk be? Or are you mandated to mock?
