Just seen reports on TV that residents of muchatha have recognized the KCN car and the terrorists involved. That the terrorists have been living at Muchatha (Guango estate) for past 3 months.

Maybe we need to send our security chiefs there to learn how they do it.

Was thinking the same. I think there's an element of racism as well. After all they call us nywele ngumu

Nope,Ethiopians still employ the Moi style intelligence system where spies are among community members who flow intel up to their superiors unlike in Kenya where NSIS is a bunch of entitled kids whose main role is to drink in bars on the pretense of collecting info and do not mix with the community members.
I don't know why they always feel the need to always advertise that they work in NSIS even when they are embedded in embassies abroad

Guango is a gated estate in muchatha - which is next to Ruaka and runda.

Poor landlord, i wouldn't want to trade places. We need to start giving information on suspicious characters. Am sure there must have been red herrings that the residents ignored.

If you didn't know, Muchatha is one of the most unsafe places to live in Nairobi. The landlord was probably just happy to get a tenant in that area.

Car jackings are not a story in that area and Ruaka.

Guango is a gated estate that has houses for sale and has been discussed on wazua as a "good investment".

Do residents of gated estates even know their neighbors? Or even concerned about their neighbours?

At least this time we can see they actually killed these f***ers. Good job to all the security agencies involved. There was a tremendous improvement compared to Westage.

And condolences to all caught up in this madness. We need to make Kenya safer so that these types of incidences never happen again.

The job is still not complete. The security forces now need to work backwards and identify how they entered the country with firearms and get all other people who helped them in this attack.

We need to neutralize the Al-shabab cells in Kenya.
