My argument with @mugunda is about the system called Islam, or the system called Christianity. For example fornication. It is both forbidden in Islam and Christianity.

Quranic definition of marriage:

1. Marriage is a legal contract (in Arabic Nikah, which means "matrimony contract") between two people (man and woman).

2. The bride is to consent to the marriage of her own free will.

3. Consent of guardian i.e. parent

4. At least two adult witnesses

5. Dowry amount agreed to be paid to the girl

6. Both man and woman must be above puberty age.

After this, the man and woman can consummate the marriage. So, according to Islam, only when you marry you have opportunity to be husband or wife, and to have children i.e. consummation.
