I've been having this 'life' story all wrong.

I get into bed to awaken and out of bed to sleep.

Sometimes I've gone to bed to awaken, only to find more sleep.

Now I'm awake, but I feel so sleepy. I want to go to bed and overcome sleep. That I may never sleep again.

It's interesting that when one thinks of it, sleep is as mysterious as death, and as life. You go to sleep and you don't know that you're asleep. You wake up and you still don't know that you're asleep.

@Tycho is sleep writing.

Are you OK?

I doubt whether I've ever been better @Obiero. Thanks for asking.

Thanks too @Ryko. I do meditation normally to connect with God and to be awakesmile Normally, meditation works best if one follows the eight limbs described by Patanjali the old philosopher.

No. Conscious thinking appears to be a total waste of time. Kujipee stress tu bure. So maybe I don't think too much but I see lot's of things and now and then I may want to cling to them.

It's good you've noticed.

@Thitifini, I think my last teacher was Thomas Merton, and he told me, 'No hiding in some cave, son'. Yeah... Let's meet the world on its terms.

Monday mornings are when my Insomnia seems to be WORST. Plans mingi mingi and looking forward to morning to get them implemented but the whole nation is chewing pillow and the places you need to get things from all open after 8 am. Whatever happened to the "24 hour economy" we heard of from the campaign manifestos during the past three election cycles? Time to shake off the weekend, my friends. We have a beautiful nation to build, good people!
