I installed this thing and it's just amazing. And I have been wondering how I managed all these years without it. I have never felt so fresh and clean. I am always looking forward to the next trip to the bathroom. The resident sheikh @alphdoti was right that we should wipe and wash and not just wipe.

@Hardwood anyone who has never used this thing is missing something in life.... try it on a hot sunny day and the water is super cold. Ensure the pressure is good. You will never go back to HANAN!! Mohammed knows something that christians dont know nowonder he allows all to have 4 women. I work so I can afford the amount of alcohol required to continue going to work

I understand most if they have never heard or used the Arabic shower, tissues are nice but this is luxury a necessity,try it you will feel bad if you find a bathroom without one. To Each His Own

@Hardwood, Bidets have no comparison with the stuff akina Alpha do. At no point do your hands come into contact with shit as does akina Alpha and kin. Actually, what you have is still a manual sought of bidet. Automatic ones are available in the market but the cost is up there.They have capacity to shampoo and then the warm rush......oooohhh..!. That feeling. My very first encounter with an auto bidet was at a hotel in Mumbai. oh boy,that thing really startled the hell out of me.....and yes, to answer Angela, they are designed with all genders in mind. There is a place where you select your gender on the console, while in others, you just reverse direction if you are an Eve and you are sorted. Some earlier models had automatic tampon removers but that was then......Ole you if you are a Swenani and you press the female button . Story for another day .

You spray a jet of water much like the way your car is cleaned by a pressure water jet kwa car wash. No use of hands. Ya kina @alph should also evolve with the times now that we have piped water unlike in the days of Muhammad. That tabia of carrying a small water container and using your hands is just gross.

More advantages for the ladies as well, less infection, feeling fresh and good... generally more hygienic
