But your pick will not matter then Mr. President. From history, an outgoing president has no influence in the outcome of next elections in Kenya.

But I have to admit, Kenya and the US have the most unpredictable elections.

Methinks it'll matter this time. Coz voting is regional. Even in 02' whoever mo1 picked won in mo1 die hard regions hands down. My only prayer is that Uhuru picks the least corrupt, not too greedy, and one who can dismantle maize, stima, nys cartels

Mt. Kenya voters ?? Those are the most stubborn people you will ever find. 2017-2022 will be a rough ride for everyonethe in that region. By the time we get to the polls, uhuru will not be able to get anyone even an MCA seat.

DP will hold some people by the balls and they will yield. Otherwise some people will be told warudi kwao, a scenario we all don't want.

The bigger question, in my view, is whether this country can afford another 5 years of mega cartels. With the huge debt pile that we now have and still counting, if you vote someone who all his life believes to be rich you have to 1) steal, 2) steal 3) steal and hence doesn't know how an economy should work, then that is the real tragedy

We cannot renegade on the vote after Ruto gave us his overwhelming support, twice.

That property in Rongai he owned long Time ago during his days in MO1 Government. Further ahead is another property owned by another former minister that houses Admin Police Officers.

There's seems to be no credible challenger so far against the DP in 2022. He could bag this thing asubuhi na mapema.

BBI will solve it

For me that is the scary part. He and his team are so sure of the victory as day & night such that if something happens it will be chaotic. Wafuazi zake are the most millitant in Kenya.

That over confidence is scary...if something was to change, his guys would go ballistic.

And if nothing changes, we are in for a rough economic ride...

They could be the most militant but they can't go it alone whether in election or war, they would lose miserably. But I think Dr. Will is now an unmatched political expert having learnt from the best. I think he can win it clean.
