I have seen photos of skeletons in cars. Too graphic to post. Some died while escaping in their cars. One guy narrated how he saved his life by running from his car and jumping into a river and remained underwater for about an hour as the firestorm passed. He said the river was nearly boiling. Unfortunate all his 5 friends in the convoy died in their cars after the fireball engulfed them.

Some found roads blocked by fallen power lines and there was no escape.

These wildfires are regular in Cali. Nothing to write home about. Next year we will hear the same storo with an even more record-breaking one.
