Hi SK team. I am looking for a container to store some materails,preferably 20ft. Any member who knows of affordable sellers. Pls advise

40K is too low for a 40' container.Bugdet around 120-150k excluding transport.Shipping lines are the genuine sellers.

its actually around 200K for a good,well maintained container.
You wouldnt even get a 20 foot with that much

I can build you a similar dismantle-able 80 foot storage space for 200k,
complete with doors and concrete floor.

Pole Njung'e...Correction: It's 40 foot long, space equivalent to that of a 40 foot long shipping container.
We can put a gable roof.

Wee okwonko,is thea a container by those dimensions? The longest that i knw of is 40' long n not mo than 10' wide. Another con?

There is a dude a Jogoo road that sells Containers Just before Hamza. Last time i heard a 20 foot was going for 30K but was kitambo

a) How much is a 20ft container going for today (Oct 2018)? Who is the typical buyer? Is there a ready market?

b) I have an unused one and want to transport it across Nairobi, which companies would you recommend to do the job affordably?

c) What would be the average price to ship the container across town (within Nai)?

A 20ft shipping container goes for about Ksh 210k depending on the state while the 40ft one 305k.

Transport of containers within Nairobi is about 15-25k depending on the pick-up location and destination.
