Airtel Africa raised Sh126b from SoftBank, other investors - the fundraising, through a primary equity issuance, now values the company at $4.4 billion and will be used to reduce existing debt of about $5 billion and grow its Africa operations...

As a result of the transaction Bharti also ceded a stake in the entity.
It's holding in Airtel Africa after the sh.126bn fundraising will be 65%
