How does the public Sector justify the payment of sitting allowance.

Why should one be paid any additional amounts for doing their jobs.

Where did this culture come from and how come the private sector does not have it.

It needs to be scrapped

It is quite insufferable for public servants to sit. A little motivation goes a long way in relieving that pain.

Imagine you are an MP, your job is to deal with an infinite set of interest groups, but you have finite time. How do you prioritize where to go?

On the other hand, most of our members especially the female ones are natural Africans and the seats are designed by non Africans with 'White' models in mind. So the sitting allowance tends to be less than the required.

It's a double attack I tell you!

This is daylight robbery.. But incase we complain too much, they will change the name to committee allowance and classify the same as extra duties hence the demand for payment. Mutajua hamjui!

Sijui responsibility allowance, hardship allowance, sleeping allowance..Aaah

This is where Uhuru should get his extra income.

Secondly How can parliament an institution of some 450 members get a budget allowance of 31 Billion, mostly to go to sitting allowance while Nairobi county, with 4 million is allocated less than 10B. Treasury's incompetence knows no boundary, are these the people we are hoping will change this country.

Where has he seen a revolution being a success? Libya is worse than before. Every Kenyan presented with an opportunity will want to steal. Did you ever imagine that Moha the former Jicho Pevu would board a plane to Russia at your expense to go watch a football match?
