Did the villagers saw unusually high number of vehicles going to the forest? Reports am seeing on the web say he was at the scene when lady was stripped and tied up. That he was furious and kicked her several times. Then left his boys to finish the job. There were only 2 cars at the scene, the KCL and the taxi he had hired to "the site". This is now fake. Never ever ever dismiss witness statements because it was them who were at the scene of crime and went through hell. Unlike you and fellow bloggers who were at their computers farting and hitting the keyboard and pretending that they know more about the happenings than the witnesses on the ground. A first year law student will tell you that testimonies from witnesses on their own are not enough to convict. They need to be collaboratted. Were there no witnesses in the ICC case? All that Ombeta and Co need to do is prove reasonable doubt. Yawnn

You have no say on what Sharon should or should not have done with her life. Your advise is actually quite sound, but for your family. There is a day teacher wanjiku did a joke on drinking and alcoholism. The alcoholic guy called Kiragu could ask people whether he had ever "borrowed" anyone's liver. "Mnasema ati ninachoma maini, nichawai kuja kwako nikaomba maini yako nikachome?" Sharon lived her life the way she deemed fit. I am not buying this self-righteous judgmental crap from people who didn't know her.

The post by @l0lest and Euge are the most plausible accounts of events that may nail Obado They talk of a bald man = Ombeta can claim Obado is not bald. For someone to call you bald in the dark it clearly means you have no hair. Communication with the suspects on phone doesn't prove much, you could have been sending me messages while you are committing the acts. What will nail Obado, remember the prosecution has to prove their case beyond reasonable doubt. 1. Money transfers for procured services - that can be an uphill to prove Obado can claim that he was giving a loan etc. 2. BTS data. Even if your phones location settings are off, your cell phone registers it's self on the nearest cell tower ensuring that you never miss a call. So the DCI can get this data from Safcom or any other mobile subscribers out there. Ombeta on the other hand can claim Obados phone was stolen, depending on how Obado acted on that eventful day , a lost phone can introduce doubt to a claim. Now if the DCI does not have enough evidence a mistrial might happen, then trying him again can almost be impossible because Ombeta will claim double jeopardy. Think about it "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The problem is you hope when you should fear & fear when you should hope: - Jesse Livermore .
