Competition is good! Applause Applause Applause

No customer interest at heart, only responds to competition,i left and can't look back until JTL closes shop

That's the sad bit about Safaricom, from the days they used to charge 8/= per min airtime. Even Mpesa is very expensive only that they haven't got competition strong enough to fight it.

8/minute? You must be a young kid Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly I have paid 40/min!!! Every second was important. No idle chit chat. SMS were 10/- each!

And a 2,000/= sim card in a huge buiscuit can.

He he he! And some chaps would use the SIM card 'template' as a key holder depicting 'prestige'...

I recall SIM cards were advertised like phones in the shops. If there was a "fancy" number, it would be sold at a premium!!!

Terrible news for Safaricom. I tried to tell Bob to get ahead of the curve by offering price friendly rates but it was not to be.. Now the government is going for the cash cows https://www.businessdail...766292-q25u7t/index.html
