Fabregas should have started. This season, he has more goals than xavi, iniesta, silva and alonso combined

Spain.. perennial underachievers. I thought to skive watching this match, and I was right. On to South Africa... Lets see if they will still have a tournament to participate in at the end of today.

Spain, this is your first warning.

Spain will still make the second round, but they could face Brazil. As for the African teams all will go home early execpt Ghana who might make the last 16.

A quote from a lady inside the stadium, from her blackberry...
And BOO to fairweather #bafana "fans" leaving the stadium early. Being a fan means you ride or die with your team. Nkt.

Spain likely to go out at group stage as Chile will not be an easy opponent!!!

bafanywa bafanywa is a weak team, was only riding on being hosts!!!

Kaiser on the 3 lions:

"What I saw of the English against the US had very little to do with football.

"It looked to me as if the English have gone backwards into the bad old days of kick and rush."

S.A. are useless. With the crowd, FIFA and 3 whole on pitch referees behind them, couldn't they just pull 4 hand of god moves? Hata kama ni ya mkono mbili, who would have noticed? Chanuka bwana!

The mboys are going home. I don't see how they'll beat France when running around like headless chicken. Good thing i didn't watch the whole game and miss my beauty sleep. France Mexico will decide who'll join Uruguay in round 2.

Argentina 2 South Korea 0.....just about to go to half time. This could be a one sided high score game by the 90th minute.
When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

The S. Koreans ruthlessly put to the sword by the Argentinians 4-1.
