Maybe they didn't budget for it thinking they are bigger than Kenya. In the business world, everyone is paid in two coins - cash and experience. Take the experience first; the cash will come later - H Geneen

Well, either way. I got good use from the modem (5,600/-) for the past few months. The savings were great 25Gb for 1,000/- and decent speeds. It is cheaper than Airtel and Telkom. Much cheaper than Saf. Works well in "proper" Nairobi and Nyali/CBD Mombasa. I hope it survives! I love the savings! Greedy when others are fearful. Happy that I can now not have to worry about Data, the 25GB takes me about 3 weeks with 'heavy use' used to spend 6-7k on safe am down to 2k max pm, I don't even need FTTH anymore. iam with you. the green monister was just an exploiter, i can't look back All these new developments on low cost data are making Saf-Con look very bad. The giant telco has become arrogant and is no longer listening to its customers. So many complex products that only confuse the customers more with their inherent contradictions and endless trickery. How do they explain data going for 3-10 times what the competitors are offering? Are they deaf and blind? In the villages every youth seems to have an Airtel line for data. Kitaeleweka! I hope it survives! I love the savings! Barely got 5mbps it’s just as good as Airtel internet Saf at 30mbps It must be dependent on the area. Once in a while the speeds did drop but overall I was fine. I usually download movies (Netflix) and the slow speeds, if any, don't bother me. I used it extensively to stream during the WC and it worked OK. If it goes under, I will miss it. I don't want to return to Zuku, Safcom, Airtel or Telkom. Zuku is not mobile and their speeds are often lousy. The mobile hotspots are nothing to write home about. They also jacked up their rates! Safaricom - Reliable and my back-up when needed. Countrywide coverage but most of my need is within Nairobi and occasionally Mombasa. Pricey. Very pricey. Airtel and Telkom - Iffy speeds. Spotty national coverage. Cheaper than Safaricom. 2x Faiba. Mobile. They should combine forces to improve their overall coverage. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

KulaRaha wrote:Dual sim iphone only for China. While all the new iPhones released worldwide will support two SIMs, they actually can still only hold one SIM card — the second SIM support comes via eSIM technology, which is a “virtual SIM” of sorts that is still a very niche tech dependent on carrier support. China and Hong Kong, however, will get legimately dual-SIM iPhones, meaning its SIM trays will hold two SIM cards.
