Drone technology ban in kenya

Drones: This gadgets have been used by the Americans to deliver precisely on bombing targets remotely, however, they have countless other civilian uses eg, photography, mapping, disaster areas survey, farming and can even give real time pictures of events such as traffic.

I personally want to use them for mapping, but now I'm told it is illegal to deploy them:

It is about time we as a country regularized their use. Anybody selling?

Drones are legal to use in Kenya for both private and commercial purposes. I believe all you require is a permit from KCAA.

Its so easy as getting a Permit.... ! what they aint saying is how much the Permit (s) go for ....

Hehe. A drone costs from about 40k but the licence is 120k.
