What are your returns since you left Financials?
Financials are OK at NSE, best sector. Pole @Obiero!!!
Older hands here will tell you which stocks I used to hold in financials and how much I sold at.. It's not as rosy as you imagine for Kenyan financials

Yes. And layoffs will continue in the banking sector but also, they will be hiring more technically skilled workers/analysts as systems shift from paper.

Let the core capital matter be settled before people get wild ideas.. Remember Jude is also seeking to cap the lucrative GoK borrowing.. NPL will be disastrous than current status which is a mess at KES 264B

I was amused when I went to deposit cash at BBK Buru & the teller was telling me rudely that he cannot take my money, that i go deposit it at the ATM. Poor guy doesn't see the short term future, he was being made redundant. Soon there will be minimal teller interactions with customers, yet you pay commissions for automated transactions. Jobs are shifting to technology.

That bank is dying. Other banks don't chase you, if you you are willing to queue and wait that is your choice

The shake out has started.. STBC, COOP and DTK all on top looser today. KCB and EQTY also down.. Rationale/logic of government borrowing indirectly from the public via the banks could be the next battle front via the M-AKIBA promise.. Why should the banks take interest and report huge profit while it is your money and mine being used. We can lend directly to the government! Kwisha! This will be interesting
